The BSc (Hons) Applied Environmental Science and Sustainability is ideal if you want to play a part in finding solutions concerned with the combined impacts of climate change, biodiversity loss and unsustainable resource management and their implications the future stability of life support systems on our planet.
As an Environmental Scientists must overcome these challenges through creative, innovative, and more sustainable solutions to local and global challenges. By drawing on a variety of core scientific fields such as Biology, Chemistry and Earth Systems and their underpinning for Policy and Regulation and addressing fundamental principles of Sustainability.
You will gain a grounding in biological and chemical and earth system disciplines to build knowledge and understanding of fundamental environmental systems before progressing to study more specialised and advanced topics, focused on applied environmental governance and sustainability.
