About the course

The BA (Hons) Business & Marketing programme will provide you with the specialist skills and knowledge to excel as a marketing professional, giving you a competitive edge in the graduate employment market.

UWS’s links with local and national organisations ensures that the teaching and assessment provided on this programme focuses on the marketing issues that impact businesses today. This will equip you with hands-on experience of applying critical thinking to solve challenges in the workplace.

Minimum Entry Requirements

  • Scottish Highers: CCC (63 UCAS Tariff points)
  • A levels: CC (64 UCAS Tariff points) plus GCSE English Language
  • Irish Leaving Certificate: H3 H3 H4
  • International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma: 24 points (3 @ HL)
  • Scottish Wider Access Programme: Access to Humanities – BBB
  • Scottish Advanced Highers: BBB (144 UCAS Tariff points) including English*
  • A levels: BBB (120 UCAS Tariff points) including English*
  • International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma: 28 points
  • SQA HNC / BTEC Level 4 HNC: Marketing or Advertising & PR or other relevant subject
  • City of Glasgow College: DipHE Business

* should also include Business Management or Business

  • SQA HND / BTEC Level 5 HND: Marketing or Advertising & PR or other relevant subject
